People everyday flock to the local malls to raid the high end Makeup counters. I say stop. There is no need to fork out $14.50 for that eyeshadow or $19.50 for that pigment, when you can shop around at larger retail chains and find almost the exact product there. I have high end makeup, MAC, Urban Decay, to name a few, however, I don't turn to these for my everyday life, I go for the lower cost makeup I have, Revlon, L'Oreal, E.L.F, NYX, and Maybelline. These brands have come a long way over the past few years, I would say that these "Drugstore Brands" are on the same level as the "High End Brands", they have virtually the same color selection in all products, and are more affordable for the everyday mom, working woman, and even the college girls out there. Most larger retail chains have a vast amount of space designated for beauty. Woman want to look beautiful, and these stores are gearing their retail space to that.

Wal-mart just started carrying the brand Hard Candy, which is a sister brand of Urban Decay, since they are a sister company you can expect the same quality from the low end as you get from the high end at a much more affordable price. Stores like Walgreens and CVS also cater to the beauty world they have sales, Sales all the time, you buy one get one free, or you buy one get one 50% off. Eyeslipsface or E.L.F offers beauty products for $1.00, they are great products, they also offer beauty tools, brushes, eyelash curlers, false eyelashes. E.L.F also carries a mineral line, right up there with Revlon and Maybelline.

Online marketplaces are overflowing with people wanting to sell you the next best thing, while some do offer products that are good, I say be careful, if it sounds to good to be true then it probably is, buyer beware.

I say stop going to the Mall high end makeup counters, if there is an absolute color you just gotta have, look around at the drug store, and you will most likely find a color so close in match to the higher end that you wouldn't be able to tell them apart. So I say shop around you can find amazing deals if you just look for them.
